Recently, I was elected to the Board of Directors of our homeowners association. Until this, I was blissfully unaware of the myriad complaints from some of our 125 homeowners, since I haven't had any problem with my unit.
Now that I am included in the emails from the homeowners to the Board via our management company Scott Management, I see the enormous amount of minutiae they have to deal with. To their credit, Scott and Ariel respond at all hours of the day and night to service problems, nuisance complaints etc.
The speed and the true compassion with which Ariel responds is incredible.
However, what truly amazes me is the depth of knowledge he has in all matters involving homeowners associations. He has full grasp of laws and regulations, familiar with quality vendors.He is on top of all manner of maintenance issues and has a thorough knowledge of fiscal matters.
When I was appointed treasurer I took an active role in reviewing our expenses. My job was made easier since Scott Management has a superlative staff, precise accounting methods, and an online invoice approval system without parallel. I could not be more pleased with their service, their response time and their staff.
